“Building & Nurturing Strong Relationships!”

Consider your relationships with your family, your friends, your associates, and your customers. If you were starting over, what would it cost, and how long would it take to rebuild those relationships? And, what approach would you take to be successful?

Strong relationships require consistent daily work. May I suggest that we already have the formula?

“Regardless of how others treat you, treat others as you want to be treated;” the Golden Rule!

People who enjoy strong, lasting relationships share identifiable traits and habits:

  • They enjoy each other’s company and are genuinely supportive because they truly want the best for one another.
  • They are honest in their interactions and forgiving when mistakes are made.
  • They honor and respect one another, showing sincere concern for each other’s physical, spiritual, and mental well-being.
  • They are loyal, generous, and encouraging — using words and actions that uplift each other.
  • They protect and trust one another, finding satisfaction in their shared purpose and mutual care.
  • And finally, people in great relationships love and pray for each other regularly.

Reference: (Matthew 7:12) “So in everything, do unto others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

MORNING MINUTE CHALLENGE:

Identify a family member, friend, associate, or customer where the relationship has weakened. Reach out with genuine care and humility to mend what’s broken. If they accept, you’ve restored something precious, saving the relationship. If they decline, you can be at peace knowing you honored the Golden Rule, and gave love its chance.

“Building & Nurturing Strong Relationships!”

That is today’s Morning Minute.

Reader; By what standard, or by what reasoning, do you determine what is, or is not evil?
