Morning Minute 4/28/26

That One Situation Wasn’t Random

What you did or didn’t do, and how you responded created your result.

Think about a situation you dealt with recently…
at work, at home, or with someone on your team.

Something didn’t go the way you expected.

Maybe someone brought you a problem
that they should have been able to handle.

Or maybe you were the one who passed something along
because you didn’t want to make the wrong call.

Now look at it a little differently.

What did you do in that moment?
What did you choose not to address before it got there?
And how did you respond after it happened?

Because every outcome is shaped by three things:

What we do
What we ignore
And how we respond.

When someone brings you a problem, it’s easy to just fix it.
It’s faster. It feels efficient.

But what happens next time?

You’ve probably seen this before:

You solved something quickly… and had to solve it again later.
You ignored something small… and it turned into something bigger.
You reacted in the moment… and wished you handled it differently afterwards.

That’s how these choices show up—every day.

The difference next time?
Make just one better choice in any one of those moments.

Today, pay attention to just one situation as it’s happening.

Ask yourself:
What am I doing…
What am I avoiding…
And how am I choosing to respond?

Because your results aren’t random—
they’re built on your choices.

And remember:

Information without transformation is wasted energy.

That is today's Morning Minute.

If you want help thinking through a situation like this,
or working through how to respond differently next time—
I’m always here to help.

I experienced how well today's vehicles are made last week when a reckless driver plowed into my SUV while I was stopped for a traffic light. The other vehicle jumped the median at @ 50mph hitting me on the right front. Except for some bruises caused by the air bag deployment, I walked away unharmed. It's 1 thing to describe the safety of today's autos. It is quite another when you experience firsthand.

God was definitely protecting me that day - basically telling me He still has more He wants me to accomplish!
